What a JOY it is to follow Jesus!
PASSION
Through mission trips, both overseas and in my own community, God gave me a passion for sharing the gospel and a deep love for missions. In the fall of 2023, I knew without a doubt that He was calling me to step fully into this, and saying yes to Him has been the greatest joy of my life!
ACTION
After saying yes to God’s call, I wondered, ‘What now?’ In His kindness, Jesus led me first to serve in Mazatlán, Mexico from May to July 2024, and then to Argentina in September to study Spanish and the Bible — all to grow in His Word and be better equipped to share the Gospel.
INTERNSHIP
My internship in Mexico confirmed that missions is exactly where God wants me to be. I experienced a peace like never before as He made it clear I was on the right path. I witnessed lives transformed, the Gospel proclaimed, and God powerfully at work.
ARGENTINA
My year in Argentina was both the hardest and most life-changing year of my life. God moved in incredible ways, drawing me into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. He provided friends from around the world and opened doors for ministry, including serving at a local church through sports and discipleship programs. I immersed myself in Spanish, which allowed me to grow both linguistically and spiritually, and the classes revealed even more of God’s goodness and redemptive story. This year strengthened my clarity, conviction, and passion for sharing the Gospel.
CIT
After my time in Argentina, the Lord gave me the opportunity to attend a month-long intensive intercultural training in Union Mills, North Carolina, to be better equipped for the mission field.
STS
During my time in Argentina, the Lord made it clear that the next step was serving with Shoulder to Shoulder Mexico. God opened the doors wide, and in March 2025, I signed the papers and committed to join the staff as a full-time missionary.
